Following swiftly on from its Grange Park Northampton joint venture, Evander has landed 33 acres of fully serviced employment land at Junction 28 of the M6. A planning application will be submitted for up to 650, 000 sq ft of logistics accommodation in October 2010.

The return of institutionally backed speculative land buying in the UK is being spearheaded by Evander Properties.

Evander has leased another building at Sherburn Distribution Park to Sala Document Storage. The building comprises just under 100,00 sq ft and has been lease for 10 years at a stepped rent enabling Sala to achieve absolute certainty over their rent throughout the term of their lease.

The Vault, one of Evander's flagship buildings in Liverpool has been sold to B & M Retail one of the UK's fastest growing value retailers. The building comprises 640,000 sq ft of state of the art distribution warehouse accommodation close to Junction 6 of the M62, adjacent to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Evander teams up on Scottish Super Shed!

Evander Properties has provided development management advice to Canada Life in their forward commitment to purchase the Co-Op's latest regioanl distribution warehouse at ProLogis Park M8 in Scotland. The project comprises development of a state of the art logistics facility that will consolidate 6 different warehouses into one facility with a BREAAM rating of at least 'Very Good' Once the occupiers energy saving strategy is finalised this is expected to be improved to 'Excellent'. Project completion is due in June 2010. Evander played a key role in negotiating all aspects of the deal from the funding agreement between the parties, the agreement for lease and the construction specification.

Evander to provide Asset Management Services to Rockpoint & Euro Hypo

Evander Properties, in conjunction with Anglesea Capital, has won another mandate to provide Asset and Development Management services to Rockpoint and Euro Hypo across a national portfolio of 2 million sq ft comprising 9 industrial/distribution buildings, 3 office buildings and two retail assets in Glasgow and Dundee.

Evander leases 270,000 sq ft Drum Two to the Co-Op as a new Regional Distribution Centre to serve 260 stores.

Evander have confirmed the lease of Drum Two, a 270,000 sq ft facility located at its regional distribution park. The building to be leased by leading UK Supermarket retailer The Co-Op will serve as a regional distribution for the company and serve 260 stores through the North East.

The new Regional Distribution Centre to serve 260 stores across the north of England for the Co-0perative Group has been completed on time and within budget.

The building comprises state of the art cross docked distribution space totalling 270,000 sq ft with space for over 100 HGV's.

It comprises a range of energy efficient initiatives.

Tim Ellis of Co-Operative Retail Logistics said: 'It has been a great team effort all round. We are now looking forward to starting operations in mid April and to ensuring stores continue to give Co-Op customers the high level of availability and service they have come to expect'.
