420,000 sq ft state of the art distribution centre for Waitrose
Welcome to Matrix Park
Evander is currently on site building a new 420,000 sq ft regional distribution centre in Chorley for Supermarket Giant Waitrose. Construction of the new 360,000 sq ft warehouse, 50,000 sq ft of offices and a vehicle maintenance unit started at the end of August and will last approximately 9 mths. The centre is expected to be fully operational by late summer 2012 and is set to create up to 600 new jobs in the area.
The building represents the first step in Waitrose's plan for a major expansion across the North West and will allow the company to service up to 80 branches across the North of England and Scotland as part of a £35m investment.
